Hi Guy's n Gals

I'm after some specs on various frames, I'm a big fella 6ft 3 and built like a brick shit house

so when it comes to riding the old 20" I'm a little scrunched up

I'm currently on a mid school freestyler and the centre seat to centre head stem is 19" and could do with a little longer, no silly come backs please

i know the burners are quite short at 17.5/18
and my mates GT is 18.5

are there any larger frames out there without going to cruiser size, any info greatly appreciated

Firstly

to

Most Old School Bikes like Mongoose Californian, Skyway Ta, Haro FST Top Tubes are normally about 18.5".

Had a 88 Haro Sport that was 20" and the Skyway TA XL is 19.5".

Think the New school Skyway TA is about 20" but someone else may confirm.

Theres alot of longer old and mid school stuff out there. You could always try sticking a pro xxl stem and make sure youve got 180mm or longer crank arms to make the bike more rideable. There used to be a thread on here listing the longer bikes if you have a search.

My MCS is 20" and I've got a layback and a XL stem and I'm only 5'4" !!!!!!!

As already mentioned the '88 Haro Sport is 20" and very roomy. However why not try a 22" wheel newschool if you're looking to ride it? They ride much more lile a 20" that you'd think and are usually a 21" top tube at least.

If you have to stick with a 20" then you need to go newschool to get over 20" on the tt generally. There are a few decent os race frames with longer tubes but not many freestyles $:-\$

Depends how new you want to go - my everyday playbike is a Supercross MX from about 11 years ago. It's got a 21.75" top tube and I think is a trails type bike. (I'm sure Supercross experts will correct me).
It also just laughs at me if I case a heavy landing so must be pretty strong (I'm not small!).

All my current riders are crazy long, 1989-90ish TNT longfellow = 22" TT, 2009 Formula nucleuz = 22" TT, Supercross passion = 21.75 TT and my Chase RSP 1.0 pro xxl plus frame = 21.75 and Im running a 60mm reach Elevn stem on that aswell. Im 6ft tall bang on and 18.5st haha

I would try a Redline RL 240 there a early nineties bike but can be made to look retro with ease, they have a long TT and a decent stem angle so perfect for the Over 6' rider, Iam 6'1" 14,7lb and it easily enough for me buddy.

Not to pricey too..
