Certainly different! That's how things were done in the 80's  8)

Well on white tuffs i think it will be aesthetically balanced.

IMO the white tuffs and green tyres would complete this perfectly :daumenhoch:

My white Bravo is a replica of one of my fave 80s bikes - that baby is staying like it is - for me it's a proper time capsule:

I took it out to the OhSoRetro show a month ago and it got many smiles & started a load of conversations with closet old schoolers.

Back to the madness that is the Purple People Eater!

a NOS GT wing chainwheel arrived still well sealed in its original bag - needless to say I ripped it open...

I also mocked up the wheelset And fitted the Takagi crank and Pedals:

It's been such a mission finding the right coloured brakes - front brake is on the way from stateside which will mean I'll almost be done collecting the bits then I can do final assembly  >:D

If there's ever a super-clash category it looks like this would walk it!

For the final photos try to use a matching backdrop!

More clash added - nearly there now.

Had to change the rear brake to a different kind of centre pull:

Brakes cables to add to the mix...

I remember an article in Action Bike on "crazy colours" ... This would have been perfect for it!

Looks great imo and a welcome break from the norm! Only thing I really dislike is the tyres....would look much better on a pair of Kenda k55 or similar   :daumenhoch:
