I put my dk stem on my freestyler and the bugger wouldn't go all the way down, and left a 15mm length of exposed shaft (ooo er) don't know why, didn't want to force it, so I threw a lump of ally into the dirty machine shop at work to the old Sheffield master and he threw this back out 30mins later, job done, was going to polish it, but the finish is really nice as it is I reckon

How come it wont go all the way down though?  You dont have an old wedge lodged at the bottom of the forks by any chance do you?  Only sayin because I had that on my 95 sport a while ago  :daumenhoch:

think it's just full of old rust n shlt, too lazy to strip it down and clean it out
