HERSDEN SUNDAY CANCELLLED NOW RACING THURSDAY

Due to the bad weather forecast for the area over the weekend, it has been decided that we should cancel Sundays meeting at Hersden.
But the good news is that we plan to race on THURSDAY evening the 17th August, with registration opening from about 4pm and closing at 6.30 prompt.
Any problems dont hesitate to ask myself or Justin.

  I can't believe how the Hersden dates always go against me! I'm having a knee operation on Thursday, but would have been able to race if it was on Wednesday.

Tony, I don't remember the weather stopping us last season, in fact I remember a very wet Sundays racing.  Why the change this year?

I know graeme, but the track was pretty cut up after that meeting, and the fact that a lot of time went into resurfacing the track earlier this year, we want to protect it as much as possible.
After seeing the rain on Sunday morning I think we did the right thing.
The weather gives it better later this week, and an evening meeting this week was all we could do, especially as more of our superstars at Hersden are doing National meetings as well as the regoinals.

I'll be back next year Tony, can't walk on it yet although I have started putting some weight on it, just got my first physio appointment for next Monday.  It's going to take a while.
