I've 44 and 18 on mine, it's a lot higher gearing than the 42 18 most people run but if your cycling in a relatively flat area and like to get a bit of speed up it's ideal. Gives me more exercise on the old legs which can't be badSteven
The classic gearing used was 41:18 bitd.(of course you can run what you like if it feels comfy to you).
