Now I had a chance of a chrome pre stamp, and thought I would go down the route of gold parts........

However some of the golds simply don't match.........

As for laid back seat posts I simply hate them.......

Stick with it, or go black parts ?

Yellow Kashi mx ?

In the 1st pic the Suntour looks like the odd one out, The others dont look too far apart.

If mine, I would use the chrome Sugino spider, and use a Sugino chainring with machined teeth, it will keep the amount of good down, and give a nice balance.

The power disc would be too much IMO.

In the light the stem matches the rest, it's the brakes that are completely wrong!

I do agree with the power disc - just waiting to try a chrome power disc with a gold PPP / tuf neck chain ring !

That could work nicely.

I'm not sure about a straight seat post though Nick, I'm not sure it will suit a Performer.

I don't like Elina's or Kashi MX's on a layback, the seats are too straight, Aeros or something similar always look better, as for the gold...I'd go green

I had a straight on mine for a while, just looked wrong. Layback = freestyle IMO.

Gold is an odd one, I mixed gold and red on my GT cruiser because I couldn't match the gold.

All the gold parts are now ACS, that helped.

chrome MX1000/900's, chrome Tech 3's and Yellow DC cables.

I would go gold and chrome. As said silver spider, gold chainring and yellow seat.

Chrome and gold looks good, Tim's one from bitd looks great with a straight post too or maybe trim your post back a little so it's not so far back (it looks like it's been smoking a reefer it's that laid back)

Although I'm an Elina freak I'd say go with the MX but that might change once the tyres and grips are on. What are your thoughts for those?

Emptying the feckin loft to find the brakes has given me a headache

I almost fooking fell out too.......jarred my neck, hit my wrist, and lost the footing on the ladder....
