Little bit of peregrine mags resto
« on: March 22, 2014, 05:59 PM »
Brought these for my redline build.
When i brought them they were not very good. Brake rub loads
Of grime years of were etc. some scratchs to fins and edges.
So after 2 runs in dishwasher. 2 good cleans in bath.
And 2 weeks in bleach. Im pleased with how they came out.
Top tip.
I used gaffer tape to put round the hubs.
As i found grease a load of shite.
Gary

They come out real nice.  :4_17_5: Dishwashers are excellent cleaning tools.  :D

Was it a weak mix of bleach if left in for two weeks? I left a seat in for a couple of weeks once and it turned yellow.  :-\ Now I only leave white parts in bleach for a day or two now, giving a scrub now and again.  :-\

It was sainsburys value bleach
32p a 2 litre bottle.
Was told to use the cheapest bleach.
