Cult cc02
« on: March 10, 2014, 06:00 PM »
I bought this last September after going to the Preston ramp night lock in. It's a Cult cc02 (2012) model. Upgrades include chrome Proper rims/hubs, Vans waffle grips, and a replacement Cult stem. I know nothing about new school bmx, and this is the only new school that I own. Took it out for the first time yesterday while the sun was out, and am pleased with it. Just thought I'd post up a few photos.

 8) I like that a lot. Visually very similar to my WTP I picked up a while ago. I had to add a gyro though as the brake cable was driving me mad.

They are Cult branded tyres made by Kenda, and they are both 20 x 2.10. Alans bmx are selling the newer version of these

I wanted something really plain and unfussy looking. I love the matt black with a hint of chrome. I like the way it rides, but can't compare it to anything else, as it's the only new school i've ever ridden apart from a few minutes riding Spen's knight retrogoose

Looks Great :daumenhoch:

I need a top load stem for mine. Do you get out on it much? I can't find anyone who rides, other than a wobble from pub to pub every few months :LolLolLolLol:

Going to try and go to some further a field ramp nights now the north west ones have dried up

Hi Paul.
The funny thing is, that I bought it after the Preston ramp night last September (which is the only ramp night I've been to!). I took my Skyway T/A to it, and was terrified that I'd break it. I bought it a few weeks after, and haven't used it since, apart from rolling round the streets yesterday, as I haven't made any of the other ramp nights.

I'd be up for a roll around sometime, either on ramps or on the flat. Would like start by learning basics like bunnyhopping and the classic rockwalk

Get yourselves to a normal session it's never too busy

I will sort a lock in at either Preston or Blackpool but it'll be the last one I'll sort, haven't been on my bike since the last one and only rode about 3 times last year  :'(

Nice choice on the bike btw  :daumenhoch:

Hi Andy

I made some bunny hop scales and doing well considering I tore my PCL ligament roller skating :'(

There is a great car park we go to in Wigan its free after 6pm and its massive with great smooth tarmac. usually go early evenings around 7pm and late Sunday afternoons. I can show you how to bunny hop and rock walk and all the old school moves, I cant do many new tricks yet but hoping to learn :LolLolLolLol:

Mark it would be great to have another Preston lockin, maybe some of us could go to some outdoor parks?

Me Ant, Tony Lee and Sam are off to Southport on the old School bikes this Saturday to the VW beach bash

Cool pics Paul - I know you're still a bit handy when it comes to busting a few moves on a bmx. I'm away this weekend, so can't make Southport - shame. Now that the nights are getting lighter, I'd defo be up for learning a few moves  :D Can't do this week or next (as I'm away), but anytime after the clocks change at the end of March should be cool.

Bought these today in order to give the Cult a bit of a re-vamp. New Cult gum coloured pedals and a black Cult Salvation V2 stem. The red stem was already on the bike when I bought it. I've never been that keen on it so am going back to black
