http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1996-S-M-Holmes-BMX-Profile-Racing-Cranks-G-Sport-Hub-mid-school-race-trails-/111291942115?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item19e98444e3

I'm not so sure...
There's a couple of things raising my eyebrow here, obviously it's pig ugly, can't see a downtube gusset, the brake bridge appears to be tubular instead of a plate, there's a cable stopper welded on the downtube and the joint between BB shell and chainstays is all wrong. Also, it's no way a "1st gen gsport hub", More like 4th gen. The only bit that looks right are the rear dropouts, so what is it....? A next gen front end, classic seat stays and dropouts with some weird chainstay/bb thing.

It's either a Holmes or Dirt Bike 'Classic' frame from 2000 (if it's a Holmes) or 2000 to 2003? (if it's a DB) - they came with that there plate behind the seatpost, oldy-worldy drops and a HG like gusset up front  :daumenhoch:

Rare (but not £350 rare...) if it is a Holmes as they discontinued em sharpish like and just flogged the Classic DB in biggerer top tube sizes.

And yep - 4th gen G-Sport hub, 14mm.

Aaaaabsolutely first clarse sir.
I do remember a DB "classic", with different tt lengths, but i didn't remember that ugly bb/chainstay joint.
The front end threw me a bit too. Mind i did smoke an awful lot in those days so memories are somewhat hazy.
Cheers Danny.
