Chainwheel options for flight cranks?
« on: February 21, 2014, 07:56 PM »
If I choose not to use my redline chainwheel what else - power disc etc would fit.  I'm specifically thinking that the lug (?) on the flights is bigger than on say a one piece crank.  Cheers, Bert

have a look through the museum. loads of the high end bikes have single pinch flites on, so you get to see what looks good with them as well as what fits the drive bolt.

Yes I've had a tuf neck power disc that I had fitted to full wrap single pinch 401's but as ORB said you'll need a top hat washer as the bb spindle has a smaller diameter

^^^ Bang on, even Redline's own instructions which can be found in the tech sticky section shows a Sugino type spider being used.
