Decided to post this bike up as I got this back last year ,serviced it and restored  only the very essentials  :angel:

Theres a lot of these done , but i havent seen another totally correct   ???


Raleigh Mk1 blaze blue frame  original finish and decals
SR stem original fish umarked with inspectors decal
Sugino 82 OPC with Tange BB
OrigHTI rat traps ( with wide spaced double braces )
Raleigh Foreign calipers, levers and Cables
Cheng shin 2.125 and 1.75 blue snakebelly tyres
Raleigh Brookes saddle NOS
Alloy hubbed Skyway tuff wheels with NOS Skyway pads
Original Vinyl studded padset
Original Viscount foam grips

Bloody hell, that's off the corner near the shop back in `81!!!

bet you daren't touch the grips, they fell apart when new!!

Its the only standard burner I'd ever want, purely iconic, even though my first was an early mk1 super tuff.

Sweet, i said in a previous burner thread i knew several kids BITD with tuff burners.
Are yellow tuffs easier to find nowadays?? must be loads of em knocking about cos of this bike.

Wow "wantit", just looking at those pictures takes me right back to the early 80's looking at the Burner's in my mums Kay's Catalogue(amongst other things ^"^). I always wanted one of those as well as the Super Tuff burner, my mate ended up getting the Super Tuff and i opted for the Extra Burner >:(
