Cheers ding, not sure on size till they arrive may be standards look a bit small on pic, but standards are good too, also in jaan's post further up they are standards on the victory and done in white, that's what has got me thinking about powdering them white, I like the look......

Hi jaan, I forgot to post it in the last bit, just got a set of vector pro bars from oz great price so they should be here in 3/4 weeks, says chrome is in vgood condition not sure wether to leave chrome or go same white as frame what do you think!.....looking for a NOS pair of red tires now panaracer knarler knobby or comp 3.

Chrome or white will look great! I like the white bars in the ad I shared earlier in the thread though.

THANKS JAAN.

They're NOS yes but i'd need to check to make certain at the weekend.  Comp IVs ran from late 83 through 85.

What year is your Vector?

Hi all slow progress on the vector as I have got into that road cycling game, foook me costs more money than old school BMX. Still got some bits sorted this summer, pleased with the profiles and the NOS mx1000, just need seatpost, clamp and pedals, not sure on pedal choice?

There is a vector post on ebay USA but $375 dollers then import tax bit steep.

Anyway here are updated pics including frame with new decals after powder.

As vector post is crazy money any ideas of another choice of quality OG 80's post to go with build?

Some great parts there mate  :daumenhoch:

Are those OG decals on the cranks? I have the same set but am after decals.

Have you looked at a red-labelled Shimano DX seatpost mate??

Loving this build!!  :slayer:

The Shimano seat post on the WHEELS was rough when I first got it, but with light polishing and a new decal it turned out perfectly, so not necessary to wait for NOS or red, just buy a red decal and tidy one up  :coolsmiley:

Dunno I just dropped it off at my chromers with some car parts and asked them to tidy it up for me, and that they did! What did the blue one go for??

I like that they add a splash of colour and are beautifully engineered.

As with everything, not at all cheap.... But it was sourcing the 9/16 spindles that was the real ball ache!!

Another route is to hunt out the hard line Vector collectors on the Museum and hit up a few of them to try your luck.
