Terry cables and mx 1000 s

Hey guys I am having a slight issue with my terry cable being to large for the wiemann adjuster on my mx1000 , the cable came with two other bits in bag one adjuster which is too big  for the wiemann and one sleve  do I have to drill the on my 1000 or mill the sleve which came with cable  please help guys

I done two different ways when I fitted mine.

I used the adapter that came in the pack with the Weinmann adjuster and on the other I took out the cable stop/adjuster of the Weinmann and dropped in the Terry cable gold one

Thread feels different mate on the threaded adjuster that came in pack didnt want to ruin the asjuster on the 1000

I rethreaded my adjuster to take the Terrycable one.
