A friend of mine took in 2 sets of HLT bars with specific instructions not to polish out the stamping. Got them back and the stamping was polished out and the chrome finish was shocking, crinkled effect was not what he wanted.

I had to go down to Southampton today to pick up a camera so I took the plunge and dropped 2 sets of JMC bars at Hampshire Electroplaters. We spoke about leaving the definition in the welds and he seemed to know his stuff, explaining where things get tricky in the tight areas etc but he was confident that they'd come up tip top. He used to own a Rickman so BMX has a place in his heart.Headlines£50 + VAT per set8 weeks turnaround but he hoped to have them ready in 5-6 weeksI'll update once I get them back
As flip flop above said Chris, me and Phil always drop our stuff in there and they do a great job, pretty quick also.Last time i was there dropping stuff off, he took me and my son on a guided tour and showed us all the stages of chroming. Was a real eye opener. They did these a while back mate.
