Hello and I want ! ,,,loving bmx since the 80s

Hello all,glad to know I'm not alone with what the missus calls a love of kids bikes,lol
Stating riding when I was 7 or 8 my first bike was a gold chopper that was '88 but always longed for a chrome bmx and my first one was when I was 10 which was a MT Racing silverfox and I loved it,it was my first proper bike
I paid the princely sum of £10 which was the world to me but I loved that bike,I really want to find one of these bikes again if anyone has one please get in touch I would be very very interested
It has to be chrome,not concerned with condition,or if its just a f+f ,please anyone

You're in the right place for this excellent hobby, and if your Handbrake thinks its just old blokes messing around with kids bikes, then send her this way, there's around 1600 members that will argue with her.,

No, seriously, she's right to be fair.

As for the Silver Fox, a few pop up from time to time, the last one I remember going was Rick's, a stunner, and £350 for a full bike, so it's a case of keeping your eyes open and asking about.

Silverfoxes are great bikes, was all I had back in the day and I was lucky to find one on here a couple of years back. Good luck in your quest!

Just curious do you guys encourage swaps on this site I'm only asking because if it gets desperate then I have a '83 diamond back viper and a '83 mongoose Cali,chatsworth that don't mean as much as the mt does
I suppose the exciting bit is the hunt though and can't wait

What you need to do mate, is get a site supporters tag. These cost £10 per year or 19p a week. These allow you to buy/sell/trade in the sales section.

Your £10 goes towards the general running of the site, server/hosting fees, but also helps fund MK.

What's MK you ask?

MK is a 2 day event hosted by the forum at Milton Keynes bmx track. This year it's on 16-17 August.
There you will be able to mix with like minded people, have a few (load of) beers, race, participate in a lake ride, chill in the Dog & Duck and generally get involved in everything associated with OSBMX. You'll get to see hundreds of fully restored and surviving bikes that you dreamt about in the 80's. BMX heaven.

So SST funds help pay for toilets, marquee hire, insurance etc.
