Right, so I thought I'd keep you lot happy, and wrap this up. It didnt go without headaches, as basically my OCD started to creep in, and control the build.

I bought the last 1.75 Comp III from Alan's, and decided to use one from another bike. This was great, but when I fitted the new one to the rim, and the old one to the other rim, I noticed that the sidewalls were a different colour, so these 2 tyres are ones I already had. I have also got it into my head that the down tube decal is too far up the frame, so my OCD is saying remove and get a new set, I may do this anyway in the future, as the fork ones are a bit aged, but this adds to the survivor look. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

Tom kindly threw in the rear caliper as part of the deal. It's a Formos and in great condition, but it is a slightly different shade to the DC lever - can I live with it??

Anyway, here are some shots I took today, I spent an hour polishing stuff up prior to throwing them on.

So here it is, finished.

I've bought one of those Uni plate/sticker surrounds off Porkchop. I had already bought a plate off Snav, but it was too small for these bars, but I'm happy Paul got the sale and it will go in the man cave.

Just need a number for this now.
