Excellent news! Am planning to make it back to Blighty this summer so will hopefully be able to make my first MK!

May even have to pull my finger out and get the Trident in a rideable state!!

OK to make sure everybody knows the score..

Please note that the MK14 starts on Saturday 16th August, if you are planning on attending on the Friday then you will not be permitted to access the track or camping area.

Friday is for the admin team to get the site ready for the weekend i.e. marquees up, toilets and skips delivered etc etc.

So to reiterate, please do not arrive for the weekend on Friday as the show, track and camp site will not be available.

I've started drinking already

Richie Clean, the 5am club is resumed. Griff, I will bring the BBQ of doom for any snakeposts, vodka and the usual supply of abuse all weekend for Ed.

I cannot wait. I even have a new o/s bike specially for the weekend

Well up for this guys, as a few have mentioned it will be my 1st MK as well.

So couple of things ....

Are the humble Raleigh bikes welcome i.e Team Special, Mini Team Special and a Team Aero Pro Race bike.

Also if I can only make it on the Sunday is that ok and is there some where to display the bikes ?

Great news re MK14

I've asked on previous years, and we know that MK is the UKs biggest old skool event, so whats the likely-hood of attracting an influential/major name associated with BMX from either stateside or uk to come along?

I think a few of the more established members of the RADmin team are looking into this already Paul, as it's the 10th year of RAD, it would be nice to have a name or names to help celebrate it with us.

No mate, but it's first come gets the best pitch, so make sure you're there when the gates open @ 7am, Saturday morning.

This sounds like it's going to be the biggest MK yet. I can see the field over the fence next to the helipad getting busy this year. I had to park/set up camp there in 2012, and I arrived about 11am, so wasn't one of the last to arrive. Might be a good idea for those who get there to set out there tents/vans/bikes in a similar fashion to the helipad in a square, or car boot style in rows.
