Peregrine HP 48 Tyres
« on: January 27, 2014, 10:39 AM »
Morning chaps, me again!  :bellend:

Just a quick one- I am in the process of making some very nice Peregrine HP 48's mine, and have been offered the Peregrine HP tyres as part of the package.

Being quite new to this, half of me wants to purchase the tyres too, as they match the wheels, but the other half thinks it's quite a lot of dosh to spend. (Not by any means saying the price is unreasonable-ED!) I just thought i'd open up the discussion as to  how rare/hard to find are these tyres are?

Am i likely to kick myself if i don't buy them? Or will i kick myself if i do buy them, as i won't want to ride them?!

They will be going on my '88 Team Master, which, come summer time will be getting used from time to time. Will it be frowned upon for me to buy and use these tyres, or am i better off letting them go to someone with a show pony and riding some cheaper lookalikes?

They will be going on this:

Thoughts/opinions appreciated :daumenhoch:

they are wicked tyres if you are happy with repop stuff ... its up to what you want out of the build  :daumenhoch:

don't you worry Paul ... ask away  :daumenhoch: like I said to you ... same as the wheels ... they are happy to stay or go ...  8)

you can buy them NOS from Rainers for 45 Euros ... £37.17 each plus shipping which takes you up to £90  :)
