6 spoke skyways

picked these up today with a f & f , I've never seen them before , does anyone know much about em ?
what sort of year they might be and are they very sought after

Came on some mongoose decades 
Strong wheels. mine got the bleach treatment and get used on ramps all the time

OE as said, came on some completes bitd, rarer than 5 spokes, look great on some bikes.

You can pretty much tell from the hub array that they would have been from around 1985 >>, looking at Tuff 50/50's. And rarer for sure because they were weak and broke easier, thus being skipped at an early age in their lives. I think they came on Diamond Back Hot streaks and Skyway Streetsyler's

Skyway are making new six spokers , but they're offset like OGK's             6 spokes is 12 degrees less flexy  than 5

Yeah they came in black. Kuwahara used them on the magician pro

A mate of mine had a lavender pair  supplied on his Falcon Prostyler from Halfords in  86.
