Unknown bars!
« on: January 12, 2014, 04:39 AM »
Can anyone help me to identify these bars? They're 28" wide with about an 8 1/4 rise and have "STEEL" and "JAPAN" stamps on the underside of the left grip (rider's left). I thought they were junk but have no idea. Thanks in advance!

Funny you should say that because I was thinking of replacing them with the laser bar look-a-like Hsin Lungs! I think the crossbar on Hsin Lung bars is higher plus aren't they made in Taiwan rather than Japan?

Thanks for the reply!  :daumenhoch:

They look like ALPS Bars, Hsin Ling are Taiwanese so would not have Japan stamped on them...

The only ALPS I know are those I've snowboarded on! Thanks for the reply - I'll do some more research.  :daumenhoch:
