Every Sunday at least 30 of us used to ride 20 miles from Northampton to Kettering come rain or shine just to ride there  :smitten:

Do you remember TA Chillie one rad local there he used to ride radlands in the 90's aswell.
Heres the only pic i have of Wicksteed TRM-85 and his brother circa 83/84.

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

My only foray into concrete back in the day, i was always more of a dirt monster.
Plus there weren't any parks near me.

Only spent about an hour there, we were on our way to my grandparents in the midlands.
That big bowl was a bit of a monster, im sure there was a concrete quarter pipe there as well.

Bumping a ancient thread just because it took me right back to being a kid!

Used to stay near the park for a week ever summer and ride everyday  :) rolling round the top of the 18 footer and dropping in was the most ballsy thing I did as a kid  >:D

Was a great park, used to love watching people try the quarter at the end of the long drive bit, it looked ok, but there was something horribly wrong with the transition!!!!

I liked the squarey mogul type bit best, some nice lines through there, and jumping out of the cigar to flat as high and as far as you could!!

Good times
