Dan, Tony and I had a quick trip around the route yesterday and Had a chat with the Landlords of the bars for this years ride and we were again met with an overwhelming response. The Diaries were marked and we are welcomed in by all. I cant wait for this ride

I was going to post something over the next few days:

Who is staying over, and where? The reason I ask is so that we can organise a central meeting point for the night time activities. Also, what sort of ambience would you prefer in the evening? Chester has all sorts of bars ranging from shitty boozers to flash bars, with others in between obviously.

Post up any preferences/requirements.

Bretty, I've been looking at the numbers for this, and it may be a better option to use the beer garden at the back of The Town Crier as a meeting point for this?

It's entirely up to you as it's your gig, but it may get a bit congested outside the station.

I've had confirmation off 'er indoors that a load of handbrakes from her work are going to Chester the same day as us for drinks, meeting in The Slug & Lettuce @ 4pm.

This potentially could either be a gashorama, but could quite easily be like a Bella Emberg lookalike comp.
