It's always nice to have something to look forward to and since we're now into 2014 thought we might as well have a thread for Cologne. Been to the last couple and had a blast, really looking forward to the next one as it's their 30th

Bugger all for a man of your means 

Hotel about 200 for 4 nights if you share (that's for the RADisson which is very nice and close) can be done cheaper but Radisson is very handy for the park

Beers & food not too pricey either, even at the park - massive kebab about 5 euro

Plane from heathrow - flight times are better from there
Not taking bikes this year, we should def do a road trip for 2015 though

Hope to see you there again! Not sure if anyone has a bed going spare in the Radisson but there's probably someone else who hasn't booked yet

You can also fly to Cologne/Bonn airport from Manchester on German Wings, or from Gatwick
On Easyjet. I'm going next week to visit my friend who lives there. Cologne is a great city.
