Just like to announce that Retrodan72 has accepted a request to become our latest Mod in the team.

Dan shows great passion for Rad and has some great qualities and ideas for the forum and upcoming events.

It was a total shock to be honest, getting the pm off Nick today. I sat for a while and thought that it was a mistake or a joke. I messaged him back and asked a few questions, first being why??

I'm no different to anyone else on the forum, I just love bikes and banter. I also wasn't sure if the forum needed anymore Mods, but that wasn't my decision to make. I was also a bit apprehensive too as there are some serious contenders for Mod status that I personally would have put way before me, some I mentioned to Nick. I'll be the first to admit that my knowledge is far off par to numerous more established members on here.

It's fair to say that my love for the hobby died a bit in June/July, but going to MK, getting my childhood bike, visiting Carl after losing his mum, the Wigan toy ride, and meeting the lads in London have all really restored and refuelled my love for the hobby which all centres around this forum, and what a forum.

I have been messaging Nick over the past few months regarding various ideas to improve things, and made suggestions to him, so I guess I was a consideration from that, but I certainly didnt expect this, I was just in the right place at the right time, luckily having an office job means I'm always logged on to RAD, so rarely miss a new thread.

We have a great forum with a top bunch of fellas, I just hope I can help the Team continue to drive it forward, keeping it fresh and keeping the interest from the members, without whom, we wouldn't have RAD.
