Other than backhops.........I would constantly try Miami Hoppers

Rock walks, I think they were called, kick turns and quite large roll backs.

stood up wheelies, nothing comes close to cool-ness, never needed to use your rear brake, if you flipped it you ran with it

Riding through Safeways in Andover (inside the actual shop)

And being chased by the Law quite a bit.

Not really tricks i know, but that was BMX for our little crew circa 1983.

Back in the day it was mainly jumping off ramps and dirt jumps in billinge hill woods, but when we rode round the local junior school playground it was kerb endos with roll backs, stand up wheelies and sitting on the bars riding backwards.
I can still do kerb endos but can't roll back as far.
