Darren is on here not banned etc, I don't think he has fooked off either really, he was on rad yesterday.

I don't think he is that active in BMX collecting these days.

Good lad though  :daumenhoch:

Things move fast on the bitchy side of old school :LolLolLolLol:
Facebook sites, people banned, people unbanned, splitters, copycats.
It's like missing a fortnight of eastenders or some other soap and catching back up.  :D

Steph is full of sh1t.. its not even his forum..!!

There's 2 things there that are not a surprise in the slightest, Steph not being imaginative enough to start his own forum, and a reason for doing it, to 'ruffle feathers' here, pretty predictable really. ::)

I still speak to Daz Kapp. He's been off bmx for a while due to masses on at home and work. He also has an expensive motorsport hobby that he wanders in and out of :daumenhoch:

Like Sean said, he was building great bikes once he got the hang of it. He'll be back soon I have no doubt :coolsmiley:

I'm sure rads owners are quaking in their boots with this new forum.... ::)

Will there be a MKRadRides14 this next year? Perhaps a few members on a pub car park selling loads of shite from their car boots.

Nothing to worry about here. Ruffling feathers? I doubt it.

I still don't get allowing banned members back on but hey they usually get theirselves re-banned again not long after.

And Darren's a top guy too. ;)

I don't know Skywayman/Steph, or anyone else involved. So this is not a personal dig at them.
I clocked a link to the new forum on FB and I'm just interested in anything related to BMX, so out of curiosity I signed up and had a look around.
Not much to see to be honest and it seems to be almost an exact copy of RAD  ???
I've been using this site for 7 years on and off, its the original and the best in my eyes, it has grown and evolved to be what and where it is today, trying to copy it just seems to be very lazy and completely pointless. We don't need another RAD, so my account there didn't last long and is now deleted.
I'll bet others will either, not bother with it, or do the same as me.

I thought 'Radbmxrides' was something to do with radbmx... what is the point?

I had a look at radbmxrides but could only find tumbleweed rolling through the empty threads.

I don't agree with them using our name, but I say the same thing to them as I said to Cultbmx (for those who can remember that far back) and bmxrewind.  Good luck, more BMX sites mean more BMX's and BMX pictures and that is a good thing.

Exactly, none whatsoever.

It's just been set up by petty individuals who are banned off this forum and fancy taking a lunge at the admins here for issuing said bans.

If people want to start another BMX forum then it will happen, but the transparency of this by calling it 'RaDrides' or whatever it is, is just ridiculous and pointless

It won't succeed, Steph couldn't run a bath even if someone turned the taps on for him.

I agree sean, i've signed up & even posted my bikes.
Time will tell if there is a real need for another site.....

What I would ask members of both sites to do is ask the new site why they think using our name is a good thing.

I have joined every break off site that was started, I never get involved with the in-fighting etc, however I would not join this one on principle.

Start a new site = great, sounds good
Start a new site using another sites name (that you are banned from)  = unimaginative, disrespectful idiots

Anyway after learning that Skywayman is actually nothing to do with 'repop rad' really made laugh.  In the future if we want to speak to anybody over there it will be with the organ grinder (raleigh street bikes) not his monkey.  :LolLolLolLol:

I started using bulletin boards / forums in the very early 90s...... I've seen myspace come and go, friends reunited - remember it? Facebook is going the same way - something new will turn up, always does.  Rad twitter?  Forums always remind me of radio - every one thought TV would kill radio but it's still here, a bit like forums........

Just saying.......
