Any Preston Pirates On Here??

Hi lads, a pal of mine has been tweeting me recently as he's seen my bikes and hinted he may get one himself.   

He wanted a Team Aero Pro Burner, which is what he raced BITD, and he tweeted me this evening saying he's won a rough one he's going to resto.

He went in to say that he's still got his yellow Haro race plate that he had when he raced at Preston around '85ish.

So, I wondered if anyone may remember him? His names Andrew (Andy) Owen?

I thought it was going to be about Andy Oldham

He rode for Raleigh and a shed load of trophies were donated to Preston pirates to be handed out at the Old school grands  about 4 years ago

I mis-read it too and thought it was going to be about "Andy Preston's Pirates"......I was assuming he'd taken to the seven seas after his career in jumping over ford escorts had dried up
