look at the length on that, although I'm not sure if it's been pushed in as far as the minimum insertion point seeing as it's leaning back

me on the Robinson, 17+ at 1988 NBMXA at the Greyhound Stadium.  Not a bad effort as i'm only 5'7" now. tbf mine isnt the highest in the photo even!

Seatposts were high back in the day, maybe not as high as the ebay link but people seem to think they were all low like they are today. No way, i rode mine high when i raced, probably the same as the picture above. When i build bikes now i still put it quite high, it's how most of us rode so i build now, how it was then.

One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Now that's an impressive length there Joff mate "wantit" :LolLolLolLol:

People have mocked the large seat post on my FST to be fair but riding both into and out of Wigan it was a godsend on the Toy Ride ;)
A much more civilised ride than my Streetbeat...it even makes me consider having a go at  the racing at the next MK.....don't laugh boys...I'm only at the thinking about it stage!!  : :D
