Anyone travelling by train, you might want to get your tickets sooner rather than later

I just booked mine and found that the only way to GUARANTEE you'll get the bike on is to reserve a bicycle space (on FGW there are a whopping 6 of these!). You might get away without, but I figured it wasn't worth gambling it esp. as they're free

I've just booked my parking space near the hotel fooking £75  from Friday to Sunday morning  :shocked: :'(

There are some other FGW trains with different rules. Nothing is ever simple.

I just checked for the train I was on, but in the past I've just walked on with my bike
Only looked now really because I'm going in Friday in rush hour and didn't fancy having a ruck with someone because there wasn't enough room
