This just landed. Bought on Ebay, listed as 1983 Diacompe Tech2, but I don't think so.

Never used them before so not sure how different they are. Just doesn't look or feel right. How can I tell for sure?

Think there should be a date stamp inside the lever body is they are originals $:-\$

i'll take a look later on. What about the DC logo stamped into the lever body. Is that the right on the earlier levers?

That looks original, The MX writing is hard to make out on a fake, that is nice and sharp looking.

The MX 3 had some nasty copies about, the best copy from BITD was a formos
