Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Just been looking on the museum and of 367 TA's on there only one isnt chrome or white!

Never really been into TA's and now i think i know why.

Saw one recently that had been stripped and i could really appreciate the beauty of the frame design. I guess familiarity breeds contempt  :daumenhoch:

Here is my old 'Black Magic' TA

You'd need one like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TA-Cyclotourist-Pro-Vis-42-Outer-Chainring-/111232273086?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19e5f5cabe

TA cranks are typically fitted to minis, you don't see many on "standards"

I know Chris, the ring I supplied mounts onto the main ring which is machined as the ring/spider combo  :daumenhoch:

It was just an example. And as they are 175's, why not dare to be different to the vast amount of bikes that are currently fitted with Redline cranks  :daumenhoch:

Gents, I may have bottomed this one out, so have started a new general build thread.  Have a look and let me know what you think?

TA's were and are a top end bike. They look wrong with one piece cranks.
Ask an old team rider if you're not sure.  :)

Don't put the TA cranks on it either, TA Cranks are either for an older or smaller (ie expert, mini) build.

I would be looking at Profile Box, Redline Flights, Terry Cable, CW maybe Cook Bros for a complete different look, something high end.

If you want something completely different the look at White Bros cranks

Thats because they only came in chrome or white. The flipside is that a fair few original chrome ones have been powdered white.

Agree that most do red or blue colour combos though. thats why I did my white (original white) one with gold bits

with Sugino CT cranks

My first one was black and red
