Sheffield On-Board: Suspects test night 11-01-2014
« on: January 12, 2014, 01:30 PM »
So Ed and I were chatting last week and I said "we need to ride this weekend brother - how about giving On-Board's new jump-box a blast?"

4 days later the Usual Suspects (minus Bill who couldn't make it unfortunately) gathered in Yorkshire, took possession of the keys, locked the gates and went to work on shaking the christmas mince pies and chocolate off :coolsmiley:

Considering it was last minute, we had a cracking night. As the park is still being modified, there was plenty of timber lying about that we soon put to good use as protection. Ben and George decided that the driveway was no where near dangerous enough, so about an hour in they found a bit of old jump-box, some ply sheets and within 30 seconds, a bit of 80's nostalgia and danger was constructed. What followed was of course stupidity...... :crazy2:

Looking forward to Terminal One in a few weeks and back to Sheffield again soon, but here's a sample of the night before the battery went on my camera and Rich bailed it and was glad he had a helmet on (healing vibes bud :daumenhoch: )

So, the new vert wall was tamed fairly quickly :uglystupid2:

Then the little quarter needed a bit of suspect modification........ :crazy2:

Rich got it nailed :daumenhoch:

Meanwhile, the jump-box was getting some stick and despite the fact it was 'kin massive, Ben, John and Rich nailed it eventually (and I'm sure George was 3" shy everytime) :2funny:

Of couse Ed was heading the wrong way as usual......

A Small gathering in a small park but big fun all round. Loved the new wall and box,  had some driveway fun, finally remembered where the steps were after rattling down them umpteen times.
Glad you're OK Rich, that was a proper tumble.

What did George do LOL "put that screw there" ... not sure which way you were looking when me and Ben got busy with the modifications  ;D

Top night ... not sure on the park changes ... maybe when its done it will make more sense  :daumenhoch:

Just checking the picsEd and it looked like Ben and the mad proffessor on the tools mate :-\

Anyway, whoever was responsible, here is the danger they created

A few other shots of stupidity from the night - Ed after one of his floor polishing moments :2funny:

General banter and abuse from the top of the bowl :buck2:

Ed footplant transfer from the bowl to the driveway ramp :daumenhoch:

Still more to come lads, it's taking ages to get the pictures photoshopped to remove Gra :daumenhoch:  :LolLolLolLol:

Sorry I couldnt  make last night , I must have dreamt I was there :chin:  :yahoo_silent:

Yeah Gra, fookin turn up next time mate :yahoo_silent:

 :LolLolLolLol:

No matter how high I got up the vert wall, I couldn't make it more than about 4 inches off the floor on the jump box :2funny:

So me and Gra had our usual "let's hog the ramp and practice doing 180's out the top" just before the camera battery went :-[

Jol had his footplants nailed :coolsmiley:

Ben filled his frame with helium and tried to clear the quite large driveway - gotta be 20 foot on the top and he only failed by his back wheel length

Oh, John was showing us how to actually do it which wound up Rich so he cleared the jump-box ::)

And finally a big thanks to the ginger camera monster :LolLolLolLol:

Mark, I didn't include you on the invite deliberately as it's just rubbing salt into the wounds I know brother :-\

Just be happy that you're not freezing your nads off in zero degrees right now and you'll get over missing a ride out with your mates who constantly take the pish out of each other the whole time and have an ace time refusing to grow up :2funny:

And yes, Ben needs a haircut and a shave but he's a scruffy bugger when he wants to be ;D
