Tanwalls would look better, but agree that not enough mid builds wear blackwalls  :-\

Mine will probably get tanwalls  ;D

Got plans to re-do this and planning on using tan walls too but need a 1.75 dirt monster. Anyone got one.

It's been in bits for a while now this bike but I've got my hands on a few tidy bits for it so it seems a re-build is in order. Just got a wheelset to put together then I'll get some fresh pics up.  :daumenhoch:

Little teaser for now....

Not sure if the serials give much away, but they only made 1 inch Metros with no canti mounts in 93/94. On the museum some people have listed Metro's as early as 90 and 91 but that isn't accurate. In early 93 Eric carter had to use a GT frame because the Metro's weren't even in production yet. I think its pretty safe to say yours is a 93 or a 94 as there was no change between the two years.

I have read all the info on the museum about em and did think it'd be 93 at the earliest. What's your frame no. Jon ? Just wondering if they're closely related like. ???

I cant remember mine exactly, but it starts with a 777 so its a much higher number than yours.

The one I've got here is 100451, and my old Purple one was 100398 I think...So they're in the same zone.

Possibly 1003.. is 93 and 1004.. is 94?

Is yours an XL Jon?

Yes its an XL. Just tried to have another look at the serial and its 7773**. I cant see the last 2 digits as they are covered by the axle nut. Will need to loosen that off to read the full number.
