Steel cable spokes?

Anyone ever seen these and do we thing a whole wheel could be laced with a similar principle?

Yeah was thinking that Digs but wheels work more on tension then compression dont they?

Its an interesting concept though....id like to see if it would work out

I love the way it says on the packet "got a broken spoke? Try our emergency spoke and you will be home in no time" lol.  If I had a broken spoke I would probably still ride it for another few months
