Want to paint my 85 master in the green, anybody know how I could identify the colour for my painter.

Unfortunately I don't have any other green haro items from this era :(

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Oh I thought that was spot on, the correct RAL colour what more could I ask for :)

But that's not right then :-\

It'll be car paint, not powder.

ral 6018 is slightly darker, it has to be neon, your car painter should be able to get the brightness if he has something to colour match to :daumenhoch:

www.c4labspc.com/services.html‎  .....  or contact Chip directly http://bmxmuseum.com/user/758 . They/he is specialized in powder, but i'm sure he can help steer you in the right direction :daumenhoch:

edit: ...he#s known for hitting that green
just an example ->http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=3532826   (Rust-oleum fluorescent :laugh:!?)

and here: ->http://www.vintagebmx.com/community/lofiversion/index.php/t3008330.html it says:
"I have a display of 3 NOS frames with a great difference in color between them. One is dark, one is light, and the other falls in the middle at about the shade of powder I use. Basically Haro used a very light gray primer and the green paint they used was transparent (like most neons), so depending on how much they put on, it changed the shade slightly." .....think that's Chip himself who says that

RAL6018 is like Kawasaki green

I've read a few Rich Sigur interviews and this is the colour that started the whole Haro neon green - RS spray bombed his Sport the night before a KOS comp and the next week Bob Haro was inundated with requests. RS based it on his yamaha motorbike.
When I was born, the world was a far simpler place.
It was all just cops and robbers.
And BMX.
