Stripping chrome with Coca Cola
« on: November 21, 2013, 12:39 PM »
I found an interesting video on youtube and wondered if anyone has ever tried doing it with metal.

I have a deep H stem with the chrome half flaking off, and was going to give it the 24 hour dip, but wondered if anyone has had any experience with it. Whether they've had any experience of it staining or darkening the metal?

Wouldn't have thought the chrome on those plastic bits are actually chrome. Cant see it working on a bike myself  :-\
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.
