Hi there, just found 31 year old Suntour Vx cranks anodized in blue, i would like to have them finished in polished silver for my Kuwi laserlite project, has anybody ever used oven cleaner or caustic soda to remove the anodize......any tips would be welcome

To be honest the blue is not in a good state, but has no dents or pits, so going to polish it out

You'd be surprised mate, a lot of folks go for the survivor look. Be worth a try before you strip em'.  :daumenhoch:
