Poor old Joey.

Never really sat well with me kids at school taking the piss out of Joey.

He always seemed a happy sort of bloke mind, so I'm sure he wasn't really that arsed.

Hey Nick. Where was this pic taken? Looks a lot like me in the yellow GT gear. Snapping your ass! haha. Not sure though but I had a similar set up in 85....Oakley goggles, JT Halfmask and Mouth trap and yellow kit, Haro sliders,  GT with a yellow seat...

And here's me on my second bike (middle of picture black helmet white peak). Redline 500a.

Had to dig out some photos from Mums. Here it is
Diamond Back Pro
Mines one on top one.

Knowle '81-82 Mum caught me smoking n hanging out with wrong crowd after getting bored roller skating (we used same ramps built for BMX ruining my garden). We struck a deal that I'd ride this and do my best at school. Sheet that was a lot of money! But true to my word I met a group of Radsters over the car park. Then started going Redditch and Wheels but I have no shots of that. Last pic is after winning that Halfords Tim March Jersey at Benfleet Essex track after racing Sid Salisbury. Not long after I got 'that' Ripper frame built with same parts.
I sold the DB frameset and traded bits after that. Bloody good bike and regret selling it at all but I did seriously love that Ripper!

I've still got mine from bitd  :)

It's a lowly catalogue / dealer only model , so are quite 'uncommon' ...... Raleigh Burner GSX .

Here's the beast in 2008 after a nearly 25 year long battle with my ol' fella to banish it from his garage ......

And here it is fully restored at BurnerBash 2011 , where it took first place in the MK1 Factory Spec category  :4_17_5:
