My first was a Kalkhoff Spitfire. My first decent BMX was a 1983 Kuwahara Nova.  :smitten:
Still have it and still ride it.

New pads, tyres, grips and some replacement decals but the rest is original. Still have the Elina UL seat and post but its too low to ride with.

hahaha -  This was my first bike aswell, there must have been zillions of them about. I really wanted a Tuff Burner but bought one of these off my mate for £35 and peeled the gold off. Think it came with Araya 7X standard though...

After the Burner debate I just found this thread ....
So my one and only BMX bitd was a Raleigh GS Burner bought from the Kay's catalogue shop in Worcester....

This was my pride and joy .... Pops really didn't understand the idea of upgrading or swapping parts so all I got to change was adding a Haro Flo Panel, a cheap checked seat cover, Landar F1s, Landar two finger levers and blue comp IIIs ( Cheng Chin )
Yes it was a POS but I loved that POS!!!

My first BMX was a Puch Trak Pro...

Sorry, no pics...

The 3 things i remember about the bike were...

No front brake...

The gearing was odd...

The front tyre was thicker than the rear - i nearly took it back to the shop to complain that they had put the wrong tyre on the front... :crazy2:

Falcon Pro Zeta...xmas 84 I think.
Took the chainguard strait off...lasted about a month before it got some landar mx2's.
Then ended up enamel sprayed white with some Wilson reynolds 501 forks, mks graphites and cheng shin white walled comp 3's. All the while riding around looking like an extra from a Duran Duran video...sweet!

Excellent stuff Andy, love the Fiat Strada, even putting it away in the garage every night wouldn't stop one of those things rusting.  :LolLolLolLol:

Hey Nick. Where was this pic taken? Looks a lot like me in the yellow GT gear. Snapping your ass! haha. Not sure though but I had a similar set up in 85....Oakley goggles, JT Halfmask and Mouth trap and yellow kit, Haro sliders,  GT with a yellow seat...

And here's me on my second bike (middle of picture black helmet white peak). Redline 500a.

That was taken outside my Auntie & Uncles house. I remember going through the carwash in the Strada when it was only a few weeks old. Water pi$$ed through the sunroof (it WAS closed by the way!) - Not very water tight..
