I guess you're using Tuffs? if so not much works Rich other than clear new school pads. for a rider i wouldn't worry to much about era correctness and brake pads

The only benefit I see of using white DC blocks on Skyways is that you don't need a bell fitted on your bike to warn people of your imminent impact with them. I think they should produce a highway code style stopping distance for this such block/rim combo.In the wet? Well who knows when you'll stop!

Thanks for the info John. Bren it's not so much about aesthetics rather the authenticity. Although I'm beginning to realise I may have to purchase new ones. The set-up is 1000 with Tech 2...shock, horror, yes Tech 2...!
