The ramps that Carlo built
« on: October 10, 2013, 12:51 PM »
Always keep a POS bike in my van just incase i get a chance to ride somewhere on my travels...On Tuesday i had a spare couple of hours while working in my hometown, so paid a visit to Carlo Griggs' ramps

They are showing their age now, there's holes in places but was still a blast, and i only planted my face once  ;D
Carlo's kids still ride there pretty much every afternoon.
Anyway, some photo's of the ramps....

the reason it`s going is he building houses on the land ,shame as would be moving there next year and would be right on my door step  . you need to ask before riding the ramps as still classed as private property . one of the kids said it was fine for me to ride when last went there .

Is it actually coming down?  :(

I did go in the cafe and ask what the deal was with riding them, and was told "help yourself whenever you like"
