I had a plate on the front of my Piranha BITD, sorry I have no pics, or don't know the brand, but it was made of heavy duty black plastic, it was a grill more than a mesh and it's dimensions allowed it to fit inside a set of CW's, even had a cutaway recess for the stem.

Anyone remember them, bit vague I know.

I thought that too Phil, but my memory from 28 years ago is a bit jaded, must be the drugs in the 90s that's done that.

Not seen one of those before. Might be worth messaging that bankrupt bike parts place on the bay, they seem to do a fair bit of Landar stuff.

What I do remember is that I took the Landar sticker off and replaced it with a Robinson sticker

I'd never even seen a Robbo till Carl turned up on his in Chester, that was 2011.

Looks like a couple have sold on the museum over the last few years, wouldn't harm to contact the purchasers and see if they stil have it

I'm not to desperate mate, it's taken me 5 years to get the frame and forks.

Im sure i saw one of these on James nadas OS GT race bike a few years back? Im a fan of landar stuff as the local hardware shop by me stocked it when i was a kid and we were buying it for our street bikes up until the late 90's. I sold my last NOS landar pad set not so long back.

For me it's a plate, for you it's your childhood bike. Wouldn't mind a suitable replacement if you can sort one, nuttin major but just a suitable plate for my bike. If not i'm sure i can do whats right in this hobby and sort you out like times of old when proper forum enthusiasts helped each other and favours came above prices.

Leave it with me, it's not an essential part of the build though tbh.
