I've been addicited to BMX since I got my first bike, a Redline MX111, I was 15 years old, I saved up my pocket money, paper round money, birthday money and the rest. My parents were more interested in alcohol and beating me to show any interest in my love for BMX. My first bike was bought second hand, I had to hide this bike when I got home in my bedroom, under the bed, this bike was givin so much love, I was affraid to ride it, in case of harming it. Since this first BMX bike. I've owned hundreds of various brands etc, all riders, never just for show, in 1990 I built a skateboard park in York, in my local city, cost me thousands, that was in 1990 when E was massive, I got slated to fxxx for this skatepark, I had many BMXer's using my place, no one paid to get in, that's why I lost it all. So retrodan don't worry about a couple of gobshites, keep up your love of BMX, I'm in my 30th year of this love and just lost a wife due to my love of BMX.
