Hey guys I'm dodge from derby UK
A few months ago I had the great idea to try and find a mongoose villain 1995 model as this was my first ever proper freestyle bike I had when I was 11 years old and the bike that turned me into the bike whore I am today lol

So after hunting on ebay I found this

Had a lot of original parts so had a lot of potential

First thing was to get some skinwall tyres back on it so I bought some primo v monsters as finding OG mongoose DMC tyres was going to be impossible

Looks loads better but I still wanted some other parts like a sticker set some OG brake levers and seat clamp so went back hunting on eBay
But while looking for parts I found this completely OG bike with everything including the DMC tyres!

I had too buy it so ended up with 2 bikes!

Needed a good clean so out came the autosol

So after some cleaning and a new front brake cable it looks like this

I have put the v monster tyres on it so I can ride it at a local meet next week and because I'm still cleaning the DMC tyres up

Cheers guys im very happy with it so far still quite a few bits i want to do like get the wheels re-spoked and also the seat posts are abit scabby but as there 26.0mm diameter i cand find 1 anywhere never mind finding 2!
Thinking about having these ones nickel plated, also need to find someone to replicate the down tube sticker

Right guys I've got a problem I can't decide which levers to put on the OG bike
The ones on it are abit scratched so I bought some others that looked the same on eBay but they have come and are slightly different
So I don't know which to put on now the best looking ones or paint the OG ones?

Lookin Awesome!

That Tech88 stinks a bit, looks new, but i reckon it's the black barrel adjusted. I'm sure Mad Middy or Mad Frank will have a silver one lying around somewhere.

Let me know if you go to any meets again

Yeah the tech 88 is going on the menace now I managed to find some NOS levers for the villain that are exactly the same as the OG ones

Will do man hopefully do a few next year

I've got one I picked up a couple of years back for £60. Everything there & in fair condition. Mine has Mongoose Skyway Tuff 3's on it which I hate/love/hate......can't quite make my mind up! I've put some cheap coloured tyres on it & hung the original tyres up in the garage to save them.

Mines chrome too. The mongoose stickers are purple. I've got purple tyres on it now. Really good colour match with the decals. I rarely ride it now but it'll have its day again soon.

Nice one ! It's nearly finished can't find one part. I got some old bits off the bike if you need anything. Levers , chainring etc.

This one is fully original spec survivor only new parts were brake cables and a chain
