Although I wub you Ed - WHO CARES. I'd rather peeps started turning the mid section back into Rads lively ugly little brother again instead of the tumble-weed section it's turned into. AND when did the mid section start to get filled with shiney-shiney bikes.......

We've lost a shat load of people who posted in ere since the crash, all I've gotta look at now are people winding other people up in bmx chat.

I'm still at work when I wanted to go riding and happy to inflict my mood on anyone...

dont ban olly, it takes away the fun!! i do like to try and wind him up but the fat bastard never really bites!! (unless its cake!)

the mid has been dead since the crash, plus ive not been really building anything mid or bmx for that matter so havent really frequented the mid section much :( :(

the captain as disappeared, bmxbert seems to be no more, even alex and dan harris dont seem to frequent as much anymore

think the crash helped people realise there is more to life than rad :LolLolLolLol:

I sometimes forget that people frequent different sections on Rad
I tend to just click on the unread posts button until it tells me to go to bed

If Rod's right about the transitional charakter of the terms, the question arises: Is there an end of new school?

If the answer is 'no', then the current length of each bmx-period would be 13.667 years*, making the 2nd half of 1985 the beginning of mid school (1985,6666666666666666666666666667), and 1999 the beginning of new school (1999,3333333333333333333333333337).

*= if you chose 1972 as the starting date of bmx: "The 1972 motorcycle racing documentary "On Any Sunday" is generally credited with inspiring the movement nationally in the US; its opening scene shows kids riding their Schwinn Stingrays off-road." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMX_bike#History)

I always thought 'Mid school' was more of an 'attitude' that just evolved over a number of years. I understand the need to have a date for show categories though.

i think more people are posting up on facebook now since the crash.
alex was saying the other day on there he couldnt reg back on after the site went down so didnt bother again.
weve lost a lot to facebook even with the old school rad section.
i must admit i post on there more myself now as its dead on here  :(.
it was loads better when the sections were all lumped in together instead of this frames/parts/flicks bollox  :-\

I'm fecked then as I don't use facebook etc. Hopefully things will pick up a bit over the colder months, I've still got the love for Mid but all Mine are either in bits or being sold off. Agree with Dordy about Mid being One section though  :daumenhoch:

Mid school shouldn't be about restoration rebuilds, it should be about the stories!!

Good point Chris, I'm only going to resurrect My old rides I still have, the rest are going. Saying that though I think I have One of Your old Standard frames in My garage!
