D'ya mean a Fishbone Big Ass? A Fishbone Bigbone is the weird seat/seatpost combi they did around the same time. Be interested to see pics, as I've only ever seen them in chrome.

If it is the Big Ass, they're alright bikes but they weight even more than normal later midschool stuff, mate had one when they first came out and it was a right b@stard to get off the ground  :LolLolLolLol: Also the pegs were a piss-poor design on em - alloy with a loose ring for grinding.

Supposing it is a Big Ass, personally I wouldn't go over £150 for one.........

Yep its the Big Ass Dan  :daumenhoch: ......I knew something wasnt quite right lol.  Big bone is definitely the seat post, which actually you can still pick up nos for around 8quid....and from memory they were pretty specific with their sizes.

Hmmm £150? Really? Maybe thats why ive never got any money.....I always pay over the odds haha.  :daumenhoch:

Very true Dan :) .....it was also common knowledge that on the particular model we speak of.....the paint used on the frames was a complex mixture made up of actual fish bones, aimed at the more hardcore rider for its longer lasting qualities.

The cranks on the bike? Didn't realise Fishbone did a set with pinch bolts - when they from?

(Would also advise wearing a weightlifter belt if you're gonna ride it  :LolLolLolLol: )
