Brakes.......
« on: September 10, 2013, 09:34 PM »
Why is it whatever brakes I buy they are always the bloody wrong ones for the frame.......... 901s on an MRD - nope, MX 1000 - nope, FS 880s on a batavus - nope, 901s on a dp freestyler - nope, 901s on a TRM - nope and don't even get me started on quadangles...... There must be a data base somewhere.....? Just saying.....

You'd like to assume 901s and 900s would be fairly interchangeable.......... Daft thing is the odyssey set up I bought from jt smooth seem to it everything!  I might just nail the rest to a board, frame them and stick them on the wall  :D

I use MX1000s on Quads, use a Skyway cooling fin to mount it to the flat bridge  :daumenhoch:

It's a cock eyed thing to build...... Nothing bloody fits!  I have all the parts and few more....... hopefully del can rustle me up decals of one description or another for a finishing touch.  Just waiting on some spacers to be machined and a 40000 tonne press to get the bloody bottom bracket bearing cups in.

nooooo dont do that as it can cause the bridge to crack/snap, use cooling fin as said above or bigger washers  :daumenhoch:
