if my memory serves correct he won the first race at buckmore park in 1980 and i believe he is still into skates and skateboarding

KLP, Kingston Leisure Products who manufactured the Iron Horse bikes. I'm guessing his was slightly different to ya high street bikes BITD.

He's still around this area, up in Doncaster, a driving instructor and yep, sure he's still got his hand in helping local BMX/Skate groups/parks etc.

Always remember him standing out from the rest in all black & stayed behind after a race meet I think at Grasby or Kirmington to watch him being filmed pulling 360's off the table top.
