Which brakes?
« on: September 03, 2013, 07:17 AM »
Hey guys, slowly collecting parts for a couple of '80 Motomag builds.....

So which brakes are better, Dia-compe 890 or the Weinmann equivalent?

Good one that. Had Weinmanns and they were good. Diacompe prob more inline with a usa built bike.

unless you're using motomags then i'd go with no calipers at all and just have the coaster  :daumenhoch:

I would go with a Dia Compe 890. If you decide to run both a coaster and caliper.  :daumenhoch:
