frame forks £800 ;)

And some.

For a decent Changa Long in chrome expect to pay £1200 - £1400, Changa Short, £900 - £1100

Very nice rare framesets that seldom come up for sale. The one on EBay looks a corker by the way.   8)

I reckon you can double that.

How many Changa Longs are there in the UK? Is it someone's on here?

Looks like the frameset I had for a while (among other Radsters):
Lovely bike to ride, especially with the pro monkey bars

Think it was this one .......

So if there is a frame set on ebay now I say this has been flipped and parted

Ebay one up now to £870.00

How many Changa Longs are there in the UK? Is it someone's on here?

According to that Voris interview ...... "My stuff was weird back then. I probably sold about 500 of the Changa. Maybe 1000 total for all the models put together"

So if a 1000 were made, thats norra lorra framesets produced .......... considering the % that have probably survived 30 years or so ......... who's to say how many are out there still in existence :pilky:

That's one of the attractions of this fine hobby, the unknown ....... and the crazy speculating  :D "help"

I thought i read somewhere a few years back that 23 or 27 longs were made BITD, again factor in how many survived and how many may be in the uk.

one is 83 and one is 85 so think that must be two different frames.

I saw one snap in half at Poole BMX track in the 80s so that's one less surviving....

Neil subwax sold his on ebay about 8 months ago for £1500 I think. (That was a regular changa, not a long I seem to recall). £1500 seems to be the going rate for a frame & forks in better than average condition. I'd love one  :smitten:

The one listed above on EBay was, I believe Terry (Wildons) and it was for the frame and forks only, not the whole bike therefore not flipped. He had the bike for some time I think and nice it was too. Steve69 has a great collection of VDCs including a long and short Changa.

School boy error

Just presumed it was complete as only looked at the auction picture

I should pay more attention

When Hotwheels ceased trading BMX in favour of Bauers etc they skipped a load of VDCs, they used to use decal sets for parcel tape and A'mes to bulk out packaging...
